in a Nutshell

The Degree of the Rector of Universitas Islam Riau No.: 326/UIR/KPTS/2017 outlines the Organizational Structure and Implementation of Bureaucratic Affairs at Universitas Islam Riau. As per this document, the Board for Information and Computing Systems (SIMFOKOM) is responsible for planning and implementing the development and sustainability of information and computing systems, network infrastructure, websites and social media at Universitas Islam Riau. SIMFOKOM also coordinates and supervises the implementation of information system and computation service tasks and evaluates the university’s performance of information systems and computer services.

to become a center of service, support, and development for modern information technology, grounding on faith and piety (iman dan taqwa).

Mission

  1. Developing a professionally integrated information technology service center,
  2. Developing a sustainable information technology training center, and 
  3. Developing  modern integrated information technology.
